PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To manage the working capital of the business, by planning sales and inflows and executing those plans through stock management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and management of Working capital (i.e. Pre-Block Business Plans; Re-forecasting; OTB Management; Allocations and Distributions)
- Price adjustments (i.e. Seasonal Mark-downs)
- Store performance review and analysis (Store Analysis and Profiling; Departmental Performance Reviews and Analysis)
- Store visits and competitor analysis
- Country support (i.e. resolving queries)
- Ad hoc projects
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 3 years retail planning experience
- Experience in planning tools, i.e. EP – Advantageous
- Replenishment knowledge – Advantageous
- Exposure to Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Advantageous
- Willingness to travel to African countries occasionally when required
- Computer Literacy (advanced) – G Suite
- SA citizen
